Raúl Reinoso Acanda

Raúl Reinoso was born in Pinar del Río, Cuba. He began his dance studies in 2002 at the Art School "Raúl Sánchez García." In 2005, he joined the National School of Art. There he created his first choreography, Let It Be Me. In the second year he worked with Santiago Alfonso, and acted for his company.

He participated in several editions of the Old Havana: City in Motion dance festival. In 2008, he took part in a dance festival in Cochabamba, Bolivia. In 2009, he joined Contemporary Dance of Cuba. The repertoire included works such as Sombrisa by Itzik Galili; Demo-N / Crazy by Rafael Bonachela; Carmina Burana, MeKniksmo, Mambo 3XXI, Identity- 1 and Matria Etnocentra by George Céspedes; Carmen by Kenneth Kvarntrom; Reversible by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa; Transire, Not Wanting to Look Back by Norge Cedeño; Cuban tangos by Billy Cowie and Compass by Jan Linkens. Under the guidance of Jorge Abril, he played one of the lead roles in CC Canillitas for Contemporary Dance of Cuba. Reinoso choreographed Safe (2014) and December (2015) for the National Ballet of Cuba.

In 2015, he joined Acosta Danza and since then has danced with the company in Europe, the United States and Asia.
