Gabriela Camejo

Venezuelan producer and art historian Gabriela Camejo coordinated the production for Cirque Du Soleil’s show Alegría on tour in Valencia, Spain, in 2013. In 2016, Camejo produced the multimedia event The Creation by Joseph Haydn for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. In 2017, she produced the documentary Guaco: Semblanza (a.k.a. Guaco), directed by Alberto Arvelo, nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in the Best Long Form Music Video category. In 2019, Camejo produced the video art for Dudamel’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Princeton University and Peralada’s Music Festival, with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. ln 2020, she produced the documentary Free Color, based on the iconic op-artist Carlos Cruz-Diez, which premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). In 2021, Camejo produced the documentary Encuentros, based on the piece Transfigured Night by Arnold Schoenberg, combined with a conversation about the importance of art, featuring architect Frank Gehry, Spanish actress María Valverde, professor Carmen Calvo, and conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
