An aspiring deaf actress, Indi Robinson is shifting a cultural perspective of how music is defined and received by utilizing American Sign Language expressive artistry. She has amassed a large following on social media through her interpretation of music and song translation into ASL.
An accomplished dancer, Indi has been a member of the Philly Phresh Crew in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As the team's first deaf performer, Indi participated in numerous televised events, including performances by the Philadelphia 76ers, Harlem Globetrotters, Ice Cube's Big3 and many collegiate games.
Next up, Indi has been cast in Fidelio, as Marzelline, under the direction of Deaf West Theater in conjunction with the LA Philharmonic, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, and directed by Alberto and Joaquín Solano.
Indi Robinson was born in Wilmington Delaware. In 2018, Indi graduated from the Cab Calloway School of the Arts and is now enrolled in college to pursue a degree in Psychology
