Legendary Haitian band Boukman Eksperyans is one of the pioneers of the Haitian rock-inspired genre musical movement “Mizik Rasin” and rose to fame with their Grammy-nominated debut album Vodou Adjae. Hailing from Port-au-Prince, they’ve been equated as the Rolling Stones of Haiti and have shared their music with the world for over three decades. Founded by Théodore "Lòlò” Beaubrun Jr. and his wife, Mimerose "Manzè" Beaubrun, Boukman has performed worldwide with festival appearances such as The Red Rock Festival in Colorado and their most recent World Tour opening for rock band Arcade Fire. With more than thirty-eight years of touring and eleven albums to their credit, they maintain staying power in the music industry with their soul-stirring lyricism and energetic performance style.
