Macy Schmidt is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and Tony Award-winning Broadway producer, as well as the Founder of both Overture Global Entertainment and The Sinfonietta, an acclaimed all-women and majority women-of-color orchestra, production company, and management firm. Her recent clients and partners include The Walt Disney Company, The Tony Awards, Sony Pictures, Forbes, TikTok, FIFA, Sony Music, Carnegie Hall, and more. A first generation Egyptian-American, Macy has become a leader in the commercial orchestra space, both as an executive producer and as a decorated orchestrator — she remains the first and only woman-of-color orchestrator in Broadway history. Also a Sony Music recording artist, Schmidt’s unique career combining business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit with her preceding musical reputation has also generated an impressive resumé of high-profile international projects and speaking engagements.
