About this Artist
TIM CALLOBRE is a composer from Pasadena, CA. He began his career as a classical guitarist, performing as a soloist across the country and internationally, at venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, The Ahmanson Theatre, and The White House.
As a guitarist, Tim won awards including 1st place in the Parkening International Young Guitarist Competition and the 2010 Los Angeles Music Center Spotlight Award. Tim's compositions Constructure and Soliloquy were performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Tim's works have been performed by other professional ensembles, including the Sonus Quartet. Tim has received the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award twice.
Tim has worked as an assistant for Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter Marco Marinangeli. He also worked as an intern for film composer James Newton Howard. Tim is currently scoring the upcoming documentary Making the American Man. He has scored a variety of film projects, including many student films at USC. He enjoys all musical pursuits and collaborations, ranging from classical composition to hip-hop production.
