  • Program Includes Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto Featuring Yefim Bronfman, Schubert’s Fourth Symphony, and the World Premiere of Oliver Knussen’s Realization of Peter Lieberson’s Shing Kham

    WHAT:            The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and public radio station Classical KUSC (91.5 FM), announce a live broadcast of the October 5, 2013 performance by Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The broadcast begins at 8:00 PM (PDT) and will be hosted by KUSC’s Gail Eichenthal and Rich Capparela. In addition to featuring the concert in its entirety, the KUSC live broadcast will also include exclusive interviews with select performers.

    The program for the evening includes Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto featuring pianist Yefim Bronfman and the world premiere/LAPA commission of Peter Lieberson’s Shing Kham realized by Oliver Knussen featuring percussionist Pedro Carneiro.
