Beatrice Rana Remains the Soloist in the Program

WHAT: 

Conductor Vasily Petrenko replaces Mirga Grazinytė-Tyla, who has withdrawn from the Tuesday, August 1 concert with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl due to illness. She will return to Los Angeles to perform with the LA Phil at Walt Disney Concert Hall in October.

The performance marks the first of two this week with the LA Phil for Petrenko; he had already been scheduled to lead the Thursday August 3 concert at the Hollywood Bowl.

Beatrice Rana remains the soloist in Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto. The complete program remains unchanged:
