Fabulous Prizes Include a Weekend at the St. Regis Hotel, Doggie Day Spa Treatments at Chateau Marmutt, and a Cashmere Sweater from Fifi & Romeo
In anticipation of the upcoming "Sing-A-Long Wizard of Oz" concert, the Hollywood Bowl presents a free Toto Look-A-Like Contest on Saturday, June 28 at 11 a.m. Hosted by comedian Melissa Peterman and judged by a panel of Toto connoisseurs, Hollywood hounds will have the opportunity to strut their stuff at the city's most legendary venue. The dogs deemed worthy of Toto-like star status will be rewarded with pooch pampering in true L.A. style.
The grand prize winner spends a weekend at the prestigious St. Regis Hotel, complete with Sunday Doggie Brunch; the second place dog is pampered with three spa days at Chateau Marmutt, which includes aromatherapy, grooming and day care; and the third place puppy receives a made-to-order cashmere sweater from L.A.'s hippest doggie designer, Fifi & Romeo. The event will be "catered" by premier puppy pastry shop Three Dog Bakery. All non-canine participants will receive a free Hollywood Bowl t-shirt and a doggone good time. Free parking is available at the Hollywood Bowl.
"Sing-A-Long Wizard of Oz" is a unique, fun-filled experience; the event features a master of ceremonies to introduce the film and run the proceedings, a Perform-A-Long Fun Pack (bubbles, noise maker, magic wand and kazoo), and a costume contest and parade. The Oscar-winning film is enhanced with on-screen icons and subtitles for all of the movie's songs and key scenes allowing the audience to become an integral part of the magical, musical experience. The Hollywood Bowl hosts the West Coast premiere on Saturday, July 5 at 7 p.m. For more information regarding the Toto Look-A-Like Contest and all upcoming concerts call 323-850-2000.
