  • Chamber Music Series Continues in April at Walt Disney Concert Hall

TUESDAY, APRIL 5 AT 8 PM

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association continues its Chamber Music Society at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Tuesday, April 5 at 8 p.m. Featuring members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the program includes works by Dvorák (Piano Trio in E minor, Op. 90, "Dumky"), Smetana (Trio for Piano and Strings in G minor, Op. 15) and Dvorák (String Quintet in E-flat, Op. 97).

The first piece by Antonín Dvorák, is nicknamed Dumky because it is a collection of Dumkas, or "fleeting thoughts". After the Piano Trio in E minor, Op. 90 was premiered, it was so well received that it was immediately presented on a forty concert tour.
