    The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association continues its Chamber Music Society series at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Tuesday, May 10 at 8 p.m. Featuring members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the concert includes three works by Shostakovich (String Quartet No. 10, No. 11 and No. 12). Musicians include violinists Elizabeth Baker, Mark Baranov, Michele Bovyer, Martin Chalifour, and Varty Manouelian; violists Hui Liu, Dana Hansen, and John Hayhurst, and cellists Barry Gold, Gloria Lum and David Garrett.

    The program is part of the Philharmonic's five-year survey of the complete symphonies and string quartets of Dmitri Shostakovich begun during the 2001/2002 season. The series concludes in 2005/2006, the centennial anniversary of Shostakovich's birth.
