Donor Recognition Opportunities: Picnic Areas at the Hollywood Bowl
An 88-acre County park, the Hollywood Bowl features 14 picnic areas throughout the park where patrons can eat and socialize with friends before concerts.
All 14 picnic areas are available to name through a donation to the LA Phil. In recognition of a generous gift to the Hollywood Bowl, a picnic area will be named in your honor for a term of 10 years from the date of signage installation. Recognition names are subject to approval by the LA Phil.

Large Picnic Area with View (Picnic Area 7)

Located above Promenade 4, this popular picnic area, known as the “tree house,” has great views of Hollywood, including the Capitol Records building and Griffith Park Observatory. It was recently outfitted with turf, which provides visitors with sustainable green lawn underfoot all season long. The ample tree cover provides a much-needed shade on those warmer days at the Bowl.

Picnic Area 1
Picnic Area 1 is located close to the Bowl’s Main Plaza and is a popular pre-concert stop for picnickers who want to enjoy the Bowl’s vibrant ambiance.
This picnic location can be named with a gift of $100,000.
Picnic Area 5
Picnic Area 5 is located inside the park, near the entrance to Promenade 3. In close proximity to a Refreshment Stand and Bowl Store, it is the perfect place to grab a bite before a show.
This picnic location can be named with a gift of $75,000.
Picnic Area 6
Picnic Area 6 is located inside the park, near the entrance to Promenades 4 and 5. Offering a shady and secluded respite from pre-concert crowds, this is a great place to unwind before a show.

Picnic Area 2
Picnic Area 2 is located near the Lot A parking lot. Up a small flight of stairs, it is optimally located for a pre-concert meal and a short walk to the Bowl’s entrance.
This picnic location can be named with a gift of $50,000.

Located near the valet parking lot at the top of Lot A parking, this picnic area is secluded with lovely views of the Bowl’s extensive plant life.
This picnic location can be named with a gift of $35,000.
Picnic Area 14

One of the more secluded picnic areas on Bowl grounds, Picnic Area 14 is located near the Lot B parking lot at Highland Ave. A lovely small park with plenty of greenery, it is the perfect place to gather with friends and family for a picnic before the start of a concert.

Picnic Area 4
Picnic Area 4 is located near the Lot A parking lot. It is surrounded by the lovely plant life the Bowl is known for.

Picnic Area 9
Picnic Area 9 is located in the Lot D parking lot across Highland Avenue from the park.
This picnic location can be named with a gift of $25,000.
Picnic Area 10
The largest of all the picnic areas, Picnic Area 10 is the perfect place to picnic with family and friends and to meet and mingle with other concert goers. Picnic Area 10 is located in the Lot D parking lot across Highland Avenue from the park.

Picnic Area 11 is located in the Lot D parking lot across Highland Avenue from the park.

With a lovely view of the hills, Picnic Area 12 is located in the Lot D parking lot across Highland Avenue from the park.
