Getting Here | When You're Here | Music & Events
Parking is limited (and stacked), so we’ve created many alternatives to get to the Bowl. Here’s the lowdown:
Park & Ride (Greater LA area)
What is it? Park in one of our 14 designated Park & Ride lots, conveniently located around LA County (with a newly added lot in Willowbrook). A bus will take you straight to the Bowl and return you after the performance.
How do I ride? Save $5 per ticket and purchase online up until 10am the day before your concert ($7 round trip per person; fees apply), or buy in person the day of your concert at the lot ($12 cash round trip per person; exact change only). Departures are timed, and pre-purchasers get priority.
Take the Bowl Shuttle (Ventura Blvd., LA Zoo, Burbank Metrolink, Ovation LA, West Hollywood)
What is it? Drive to one of the close-to-the-Bowl shuttle lots, and from there, we’ll do the rest.
How do I ride? This year, we’ve increased our services to five shuttle lot locations: Ventura Blvd., the LA Zoo, Burbank Metrolink, Ovation LA (formally Hollywood/Highland), and West Hollywood.* All shuttles are accessible via Metro and free** with a Metro card and Metrolink ticket; $6 per person without. Parking is free at most locations. Purchase tickets online (fees apply) up until 10am the day of your concert or in person that day. Shuttles run continuously until showtime.
Pro tip: Show your same-day Park & Ride/Bowl shuttle ticket for 20% off your purchase at the Plaza Marketplace!
Please note: lot locations, departure times, and availability are subject to change and may not be available for all concerts. Please check your concert's page for available locations.
Visit our Park & Ride and Bowl Shuttle page for details and tickets
*Available for concerts Friday through Sunday only, beginning in May (some exceptions may occur).
**The TAP card or Metrolink ticket will be verified and must be valid and active. Travel must have occurred within the previous two hours (via bus or subway).
Ride the Metro
Take the Metro B Line (Red) to our Hollywood & Highland shuttle lot Ovation LA (valid TAP cards will be accepted). Plan your trip using the Metro Trip Planner at www.metro.net or call 323 GO METRO (323 466 3876).
You’ll be dropped off and picked up from parking Lot B. Follow safety directions from staff when exiting and waiting for your ride.
Stacked Parking On Site
You can now pre-purchase parking for Lot A, Lot B, Lot C, and Lot D. Parking is extremely limited and may sell out in advance! If inventory is still available, cashiers accept cash or credit card. All lots are stack parked and there is no early exit. Visit our Parking page to purchase, view the parking map, and get more details.

What are the seat options?
There are three types of seating at the Bowl:
Box Seats: canvas-covered collapsible chairs in groups of four or six surrounded by wooden partitions
Super Seats: stadium-style seats with built-in cup holders set in the center of the theater
Bench Seats: start right next to the Terrace boxes and go all the way to the top
Large video screens on both sides of the stage give you a close-up view no matter where you sit.
Want a bit more comfort? Ask an usher about seat cushion rentals. They’re only $1!
Food + Wine
Enjoying the Bowl’s culinary program, brought to life by James Beard Award-winning chef Suzanne Goin and restaurateur Caroline Styne, is a must!
Pro tip: Order from anywhere via your phone and we’ll text you when your food is ready. Only cashless payment methods are accepted for dining purchases at the Bowl.
Dining options include:
Supper in Your Box Seats: Have you purchased box seats? Order off this menu and take your pick of Suzanne’s three-course meals, family-style feasts, à la carte starters, main courses, and desserts, along with Caroline’s wine offerings. Food will be served right at your seats. Be sure to order online by 6pm the day before your concert.
Picnic boxes: Let us pack your picnic for you! Preorder to enjoy Suzanne’s picnic-perfect menus featuring delicious options for every palate and pick up your order in the Plaza Marketplace. Be sure to order online by 6pm the day before your concert.
Marketplaces: Grab and go from one of our three on-site Marketplaces for a spread of ready-to-eat items. The new-to-the-Bowl South LA Cafe serves coffee and more in the Plaza Marketplace.
Street Food and Snacks: Walk up or put through a mobile order at any of our five food/snack stands throughout the Bowl. Offerings include a new fried chicken stand from Suzanne Goin, gourmet pizza, tacos, specialty all-beef hot dogs, vegetarian and vegan-friendly fare, burgers, BBQ, popcorn, and dessert.
Restaurants: Snag a reservation at the backyard for farmers market-driven plates or at Ann’s Wine Bar for Caroline Styne’s favorite new- and old-world wines paired with Suzanne Goin’s signature small-plates menu. Those with seats in the Pool Circle can enjoy an exclusive fine-dining experience styled from Suzanne and Caroline’s award-winning restaurant Lucques.
I just want to know if I can bring my own alcohol!
Whether you can bring your own alcohol depends on the type of event you’re attending. For LA Phil-presented events, feel free to bring your own wine, beer, and more (glass bottles are permitted). For lease events, however, outside alcohol is not allowed.
Read our House Rules for more details on what you can and can’t bring to your concert.
We welcome you to bring your own food and enjoy one of our 14 picnic areas at the Bowl. But come early; picnic tables fill up fast! Please note that containers, picnic baskets, and coolers measuring more than 15 inches wide, 15 inches high, or 22 inches long won’t be allowed past the ticket gates.
Hollywood Bowl App and Digital Ticketing
Our mobile app makes ticket sharing and scanning a breeze, and it also lets you order food for pickup, browse the calendar, read the digital program, and more. Available in Spanish and English. Download the app here. Learn more about digital ticketing in our step-by-step guide.
The Bowl is committed to making its concerts accessible to all who wish to enjoy live music. Visit our Accessibility Info page to learn about accessible seats and transportation, sign language interpretation, open captioning, assistive listening devices, service animals, and more.
It’s another unforgettable summer under the stars, and we can’t wait to see you there!
There are two ways to buy tickets:
Fill your summer with music while saving money by creating your own package of three or more concerts that suit your taste, schedule, and budget. Individual tickets for the 2023 season are also on sale.
I’m interested in classical music; where do I start?
Our Tuesday and Thursday concerts are dedicated to classical music under the stars! But classical music fan or not, these concerts are designed for everyone, so it’s hard to go wrong. Tuesdays and Thursdays are also a great way to get acquainted with the joys of the Hollywood Bowl; good seats are usually available and parking is easier than on the weekends.
If you’re looking for something in particular, check out our online calendar, where you can find concerts featuring your favorite performers, composers, and musical styles. You can use the filter to see concerts in which our Music & Artistic Director, Gustavo Dudamel, is conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Support the Bowl’s future

The Bowl is run by the nonprofit Los Angeles Philharmonic Association. Play your part to ensure that Bowl summers last forever with your support through any of our philanthropic opportunities:
Name a seat: Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime chance to be a part of the first seat-naming campaign in the Hollywood Bowl’s 100-year history by naming a box, bench, or seat.
Memberships: Take your love of the Bowl to the next level by becoming a sustaining member. Members get exclusive invites and special discounts. Check out our newest membership program, Club 101.
