Getting to the Bowl & Parking

Audience members arriving to the Bowl under the tunnel for Park & Ride transportation. A marquee with the Park & Ride bus numbers are listed behind them.

Parking is limited, stacked, and may sell out in advance, so we’ve created many alternatives to get to the Bowl. Here’s the lowdown:

Park & Ride (Greater LA area)

What is it? Park in one of our designated Park & Ride lots, conveniently located across LA County. A bus will take you straight to the Bowl and return you to your lot after the performance.

How do I ride? Save $5 per ticket and purchase online up until 10am the day before your concert ($7-10 round trip per person; $1-2.45 fees apply), or buy in person the day of your concert at the lot ($12-15 cash round trip per person; exact change only). Departures are timed, and pre-purchasers get priority.

Take the Bowl Shuttle (Ventura Blvd., LA Zoo, Burbank Metrolink, Ovation Hollywood)

What is it? Drive to one of the close-to-the-Bowl shuttle lots, and from there, we’ll do the rest.

How do I ride? You can purchase shuttle tickets online up until 1 hour before your concert or in person that day ($6-12, some fees apply). All shuttles are accessible via Metro and free with a GoMetro Round-Trip Pass, Metro TAP card, or Metrolink ticket*. Parking is free at most lot locations. Shuttles run continuously until showtime.

Pro tip: Show your same-day Park & Ride/Bowl shuttle ticket for 20% off your purchase at the Plaza Marketplace!

Please note: lot locations, departure times, and availability are subject to change and may not be available for all concerts. Please check your concert's page for available locations.

Visit our Park & Ride and Bowl Shuttle page for details and tickets

*Available for concerts Friday through Sunday only, beginning in May (some exceptions may occur). The TAP card or Metrolink ticket will be verified and must be valid and active. Travel must have occurred within the previous two hours (via bus or subway).

Ride with Metro

The easiest way to get to the Bowl via public transportation is by taking the Metro B Line (Red) to the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station. Then catch the Bowl shuttle at Ovation Hollywood to finish your trip for free (valid TAP cards or GoMetro Round-Trip Passes will be accepted).

Pro tip: Buy your Metro pass when buying your concert tickets! Once you’ve added concert tickets to your cart, select a Metro pass as an add-on during checkout.

I’m interested in classical music; where do I start?

Our Tuesday and Thursday concerts are dedicated to classical music under the stars! But classical music fan or not, these concerts are designed for everyone, so it’s hard to go wrong. Tuesdays and Thursdays are also a great way to get acquainted with the joys of the Hollywood Bowl; good seats are usually available and parking is easier than on the weekends.

If you’re looking for something in particular, check out our online calendarwhere you can find concerts featuring your favorite performers, composers, and musical styles.
