About this Performance
Herbie Hancock simply can’t stay still. Since making his debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as an 11-year-old in 1952, the legendary award-winning pianist has done it all: cool Blue Note jazz, cooking with Miles Davis’ Second Great Quintet, going far out with his Mwandishi band, getting funky with Head Hunters, and collaborating with an incredible range of artists. There’s no telling what he’ll do as he makes his return to the Bowl—but you can bet it’ll be unforgettable.
